So this weekend we will be at the Ducosim fair in Amersfoort with a demo of Whack!
We e-mailed the people of Ducosim quite last minute but they were generous enough to provide us with a table. So preparations are in full swing!
Mátyás (#printgasm) is working hard to get us the latest artwork and we have to fix a new prototype on Friday so we can show off our latest work. He has done an amazing job until now so hopefully we will turn some heads and attract some players with his awesome artwork.
Some highlights of what has been updated on the artwork:
- The board has a new look and is finally ready in linocut style.
- Almost all cards are ready in linocut black-and-white.
- We have new icons for the dice.
- 8 cards have been added to the game.
This is the first board game fair we are attending so it’s quite exciting to see how much attention Whack will attract between all the different games. We have one table to fill so we bought a table cloth and are working on printing all the cards on stickers and pasting them on blanc cards. The board is our old prototype that we have used for testing up until now. We do not have the new board design ready just yet. Maybe that is something for the next fair we can attend.
